At Complete Smile Dental, we are preferred providers for NIB, HCF, CBHS, THU and Union Health. We also welcome all other health funds. Plus, we provide Medicare Child Dental Benefit Scheme gap free dental care for children between 2-17 years of age.
Choosing the right dental cover
When deciding on what type of dental insurance you need, you will have to consider your age, current oral health status and situation in life, as well as your budget.
For example, if you are a young single or couple and your oral health is good, general preventative dental cover is usually sufficient to cover your needs and prevent more serious oral health complications. However, if you have a family or are over 40, you may need to consider extras cover options for major dental work such as implants, braces and dentures. There is a higher cost involved in extras cover but in the long term, you can avoid expensive dental fees and save more money.
Other factors that you should consider include out-of-pocket expenses, “no gap” options, annual limits and waiting periods.

Child Dental Benefit Schedule
We provide CDBS gap-free dental care for children 2-17 years of age. The Child Dental Benefits Schedule is a government funded dental benefit program (through Medicare) that provides access for eligible children aged 2-17 to dental services from all public and private dental clinics in Australia. The CDBS benefit covers a range of basic dental services, including: dental examinations and cleaning, X-rays, fissure sealing, fillings, root canal treatments and extractions.
The CDBS benefit cap is $1,000, and it can be used over a two year period. This access period commences on the first day of the calendar year, when your child attends their first eligible dental visit.
Veteran Affairs
At Complete Smile Dental we accept Veteran Affairs Gold Cards. If you hold a gold card, you are entitled to have your dental treatment provided for you under the Department of Veteran Affairs arrangements.
